Rates

Rate payments assist councils to administer various laws and regulations to help maintain and improve services and facilities for the community.

These services include community services, sporting and recreation services, environmental planning, public health, environmental protection and waste collection, treatment and disposal.

The rates you pay allow Brewarrina Shire Council to fund these services for the benefit of all residents in the Shire.

Brewarrina Shire Council annual rates are due 31 August, or alternatively payments can be made quarterly on 31 August, 30 November, 28 February and May 31 each year.

Rates can be paid at the Council's Administration Office or sent through the mail. Acceptable methods of payments are cash, cheque, eftpos, direct debit or BPay.
