Casual Customer Service Officer - Tourism



Applications are invited from suitably qualified / experienced individuals for the position of a Customer Service Officer.  Some of the key responsibilities of the position include:

  • Assist with day to day operation of the Visitors Information Centre
  • Assist with event and conference management
  • Assist with development of local tourist information & promotional material
  • Assist with participation in regional promotions
  • Assist  to produce and publish the Brewarrina News by the monthly deadline
  • Assist in other areas of Council Customer Service’s as required.
  • Assist in Library Functions

 

Applicant will need to demonstrate some of the following:   

  • Cash handling & daily banking
  • Effective oral & written communications skills
  • Maintaining daily records
  • Good Computer Skills
  • Filing
  • Provide Administrative Support
  • Provide High Quality Customer Service

 

Applicants must have at least Year 10 education or equivalent.

The position is currently classified as Band 1, Level 2, Grade 1,Steps 1 -4 with an hourly rate of $24.89 - $28.62 per hour (dependent on qualifications and experience) which includes 25% casual loading. Conditions of employment are in accordance with the Local Government (State) Award 2020
