Casual Customer Service Officer - Administration/Records

Applications are invited from suitably qualified / experienced individuals for the position of Casual Customer Service Officer - Administration/Records.  Some of the key position responsibilities:

  • Provide high level of customer service to Council’s internal and external customers in a positive and professional manner.
  • Provide accurate relevant information and assistance regarding Councils services, policies and procedures and activities to all customers of the Council in a professional, concise and helpful manner.
  • Receive and process monies payable to Council services in accordance with the relevant accounting standards and Councils policies.
  • Ensure all customer complaints and enquiries are recorded, processed and managed in accordance with the Councils policies and procedures.
  • Provide ongoing support to other areas of the Council and assist with daily correspondence and maintenance of records and files.

Applicants must have at least Year 10 education or equivalent.

The position is currently classified as Band 2, Level 1, Grade 5a Steps 1 - 4, range of $29.59 to $34.03 per hour (dependent on qualifications and experience) with an addition of 25% for casual loading. Conditions of the employment are in accordance with the Local Government (State) Award 2020.
