Big Sky Library

Brewarrina Big Sky Library has undergone huge changes with the successful application from Brewarrina Shire Council to NSW Government and NSW State Library for infrastructure funding of $200K during 2018-2020. The approved funding has allowed for the extension of the building for the provisions of more space of 25sqm, this has allowed room for age specific areas and innovative technologies to be housed. Technologies included but not limited to; Virtual reality, Ipads, listening station, 3D printing, additional computer. To top this exciting project off, new shelving custom made indigenous fabric furniture. With the increase in service capabilities and funding from State Library, we can now comfortably operate on Saturday mornings and offer specialist programs for community that promote belonging, education and development for all ages.
