Casual Employment Opportunities
Admin and Office relief positions:
General administration support required for Maternity relief positions within Council, for approximately 6+ months.
Preference
will be given to applicants that have experience in general
administration and can demonstrate an ability to carry out and perform a
variety of clerical tasks including customer service.
Customer Service Officer Positions
Support
staff are required for Council’s tourism, events and customer service
areas. Preference will be given to applicants that have customer service
and administrative experience.
This position involves rotating shifts and weekend work.
Plant Operator & Labouring Positions:
Labourers
and Plant Operators are required to work and operate various equipment,
plant and machinery. Preference will be given to applicants that can
work harmoniously and productively as part of a team and are committed
to safe work practices. This position may involve travel and overnight
stays.
All casual
positions attract 25% Casual loading. Local Government experience would
be advantageous. The advertised salaries or wages component will be
dependent on qualifications and experience. Conditions of employment are
in accordance with the Local Government (State) Award 2017.
