Customer Service Officer - Casual

Applications are invited from suitably qualified / experienced individuals for the position of a Customer Service Officer.  Some of the key responsibilities of the position include:

  • Assisting with day to day operations of Council’s Administration Offices and Visitors Information Centre
  • Ability to provide administrative support and deliver high quality customer service.
  • Assisting with the development of local tourist information & promotional material
  • Assist in regional promotions, event and conference management
  • Assist in other areas of Council’s Customer Services as required.

Applicant will need to demonstrate some of the following:   

  • Cash handling & daily banking
  • Effective oral & written communications skills
  • Maintenance of daily records
  • Good Computer Skills
  • Data input and general filing duties
  • Record maintenance

Applicants must have at least Year 10 education or equivalent.

The position is currently classified as Band 1, Level 2, Grade 1 - 2, Salary range of $23.26 - $27.67 per hour (dependent on qualifications and experience) with an addition of 25% for casual loading. Conditions of the employment are in accordance with the Local Government (State) Award 2017.
