Community Services Manager

Applications are invited from suitably qualified and/or experienced individuals for the above position.

The Community Services Manager is responsible for supervision and planning of Council’s Community Services. The position incumbent provides leadership, direction and management for Tourism, Community Development, Children’s, and youth services to achieve the strategies and actions as identified in the Council’s operational and Strategic Plans.

The position has a total Remuneration Package (TRP) in the range of $85k to $100k including cash component of between $79k to $95k plus Superannuation.

Included in the package is the leaseback of a Council vehicle and an annual performance bonus of up to $5,000. The package will be negotiated to suit the skills and experience you will bring to the role. Council may also offer a one bedroom unit at a subsidised rental if required. 

Applicants should be able to demonstrate experience in the development, submission and completion of grant programs as well as the supervision of community service staff and budgets.
