Casual Relief Ranger

Applications are invited from suitably qualified and/or experienced individuals for the position of Casual Relief Ranger.

The position will be responsible for undertaking a wide range of tasks, with a primary focus on effective and efficient service delivery. It would be advantageous if you had training and or experience in micro-chipping and dangerous dog handling. Interested applicants will need to demonstrate:

  • Ability to assess situations and determine processes, tools and solutions for a variety of work related projects and tasks.
  • An ability to prioritise commitments without compromising on quality.
  • Ability to work efficiently as part of a team.
  • Demonstrated ability to supervise staff.
  • Sound written and oral communication skills.

This position is currently classified as Band 2, Level 1 Grade 1, Step 1 – 4 with a salary range of $22.00 to $26.14 per hour (dependent on qualifications and experience). Conditions of employment are in accordance with the Local Government (State) Award 2017.
