Administration Officer Technical Services

Applications are invited from suitably qualified / experienced individuals for the position of   Administration Officer in Council’s Technical Services Department.  Some of the key responsibilities of the position include:

  • Administrative support to all of the Department
  • Professional oral & written communications skills
  • Maintaining daily records and data entry
  • Good Computer Skills especially Excel and other MS Office Suite programs
  • Maintain Companion Animals register
  • Complete 149 certificates, drainage diagram and other notice requests
  • Minute Taking
  • Provide High Quality Customer Service
  • Assist with Grant applications and report compilation.

Applicants must have at least Year 10 education or equivalent. This position requires the applicant to demonstrate their well-developed organisational and computer skills and ability to work to tight deadlines. Previous experience working in Local Government, or a technical environment or possessing an Administrative Certificate would be advantageous.

The position is currently classified as Band 2, Level 1, Grade 5, Salary range is $50,066 - $57,575. Conditions of employment are in accordance with the Local Government (State) Award 2017.
